Rebecca Keltie is a retired United States Navy veteran. Raised in a blue-collar family, Rebecca learned the value of hard work and determination from an early age. After proudly serving in the U.S. Navy for 21 years, Rebecca retired honorably in 2014.

Over her extensive career, Rebecca has worked with various government and military peers including the Department of Homeland Security, Border Patrol/Protection and State/Local Law Enforcement with a focus on human and drug trafficking.

As Rebecca transitioned into civilian life, she became a small business owner for a short time and then returned to serving our country as a Department of Defense contract engineer with direct interest in national security and information technology. Additionally, Rebecca has obtained FEMA certifications in natural disaster incident command and response systems which is motivated by her commitment to community safety and security.

Rebecca is a member of the CSU Extension Advisory Board as their STEM expert and congregant of The Road at Chapel Hills. She believes strongly in giving back to her community and is an active volunteer in many local organizations including D11 Achievement Alliance which advocates for improved academics and honoring parental rights, Westside Cares who provides care and compassion to our neighbors in need, and Salvation Army where Rebecca was recently recognized for Doing the Most Good.

Rebecca raised two exceptional sons, both of whom followed in her footsteps by serving in the U.S. military. Like many Coloradans today, Rebecca’s life journey has included adversity, hardships, and challenges including managing single parenthood and a period of unemployment. Her relatable “lived experience”, strong work ethic, and perseverance makes her a unique candidate to represent the House District 16 community.
